About MaghribTime

MaghribTime answers one question as quickly as possible: what time is Maghrib today? Each city page puts today’s Maghrib time and a live countdown at the top, followed by the full daily prayer timetable, a 7-day view and a monthly timetable.

What we cover

We currently cover 48 cities in the United Kingdom. We would rather offer fewer pages that are genuinely useful than thousands of thin ones, and we plan to add more cities and countries over time.

How the times are produced

Times are calculated, not copied from mosque timetables. We use the open-source Adhan astronomical library with each city’s latitude, longitude and IANA timezone, so daylight saving changes are handled automatically. You can choose the calculation method and the Asr calculation on any city page. Read more about the methods.

What we don’t do

We don’t issue religious rulings. Calculated times are estimates and may differ from your local mosque by a few minutes. Where they differ, follow your mosque or a scholar you trust.

We don’t sell data, and analytics cookies are only used if you accept them. See the privacy page for details, or get in touch if you spot a mistake.
